Ricky Nelson’s Musically Gifted Twin Sons

The late Ricky Nelson, a successful recording artist, was the father of twin sons, Matthew and Gunnar. Following in their father’s footsteps, the brothers formed the band Nelson and became big stars in the early ’90s, thanks to support from MTV.

Matthew and Gunnar have aged gracefully in their mid-fifties, and continue to impress their fans with their musical talent. They often share videos on their Instagram, playing tunes for their followers. Their long blonde hair and harmony-laden powerpop sound are reminiscent of their father, earning them praise from their fans.

Their life after their father’s death was not easy. They were left with only $26 and contrary to what many would have thought, did not have a rosy life. Despite the hardships, they have managed to carve out successful careers for themselves in the music industry and are raising their own families.
