Adhara Pérez, a ten-year-old girl from Mexico City, is one of the smartest person alive today. Her IQ is 162, which puts her ahead of geniuses like Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking. Adhara is a child genius. On the path to success, however, she ran into a few obstacles. Adhara was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome at the age of three, making it difficult for her to interact with others in a social setting. Because of the bullying she endured in school, she became depressed and lost interest in learning.
Adhara’s exceptional intelligence was recognized at the age of 8 thanks to her mother’s recognition of her daughter’s unique skills and subsequent therapy. Adhara found an educational setting that met her unique needs, allowing her to speed through primary school, middle school, and high school.
So, Adhara continued to work hard and pursue her passions. And eventually, her talent and hard work caught the attention of the media. She was invited to speak at conferences around the world, sharing her unique perspective and inspiring others to embrace their differences.
Adhara is currently creating a new smart bracelet that can monitor the emotions of children with varying abilities, allowing her to anticipate and prevent seizures and other types of outbursts while also working toward two degrees through online coursework.
Adhara hopes to study astronomy at the University of Arizona and become an astronaut in the future and she also was invited to study there by president Robert C. Robbins. The young prodigy was even included in Forbes México’s list of the 100 Most Powerful Women in Mexico, and she penned a book about her experiences with a title that translates to Do Not Give Up.
