I Sewed My Sister’s Uterus Back Together & Decided To Use It To Decorate My Home

Once it was sewn together, Christina said it looked like a maraca. We have to believe the series has done so well because most women will never see their uterus and there aren’t a lot of pictures of the actual organ even online. Blame it on the sexism that runs rife in women’s medicine.

Christina and Michelle’s cool little summer project entertained and most importantly, informed a lot of people.

“That little thing is what has been causing me pain for the last month?!” one user asked.

Another shared that it helped her understand her health a bit better. “You know this was actually super helpful for me because right now I have a mass on my uterus that’s 4 times the size of my uterus but I never really considered the size of my uterus and now I have a new appreciation for how badly I need my hysterectomy,” she wrote.
